Ciara Rooney was the first junior female past the post in the Dunboyne 4 Mile Road Race on Sunday with a great time of 26:03 in cold and windy conditions. Marie Reilly was also in the prizes as she was first in the O55 category in 30:34. Not to be outdone Mary Watters picked up 3rd place in the O45 category in 27:37.
Other Navan AC members in action were Barry Watters (25:30), Colin Finn (28:14), Alan Reilly (28:24), Gabriel Sheeran (30:32), Amanda Sheeran (34:42), Rosario Murray (37:42) and Fiona Finn (39:56). Well done to all. The next race in the Meath Road Race League is the Fr Murphy 5 Mile Race in Kildalkey next Sunday 31st March at 12noon.

Navan AC 6K Annual Road Race
Every year Navan AC hosts the Navan 6K Annual Road Race featuring the Simon Cumbers & Paddy Hyland Memorial 6K Run/Walk in May. This year’s race will take place on Friday 10th May 2013. Further details can be found here.
