Navan Athletic Club are sad to report the passing of two people with strong connections to the club over the past few days.
Nuala Byrne, mother of club secretary Fiona, was heavily involved in the formation of Navan AC and the running of Claremont Stadium for many years alongside her husband Robbie and is fondly remembered for her hard work keeping everyone fed at various fundraisers at Claremont over the years.
Ena Tobin represented both Navan AC and Drogheda & District AC and will be remembered as someone who always tried to run with a smile on her face. Her family have been involved in the club for many years and her sister Sonya is currently a club coach.
Deepest sympathies to the Byrne and Tobin families on their loss.

A group of around 50 juveniles from Navan AC made the trip to Abbotstown on Friday night for a training session at the National Indoor Arena. It was a great and enjoyable experience for our juvenile members and coaches to have a training session at such a state of the art facility.

Well done to each of our juveniles who competed in the Leinster Juvenile Indoor championships in Athlone over the weekend.
The experience gained at these competitions will stand to them going forward.
We had medal winners, finalists, PB’s, and 100% effort from everyone!
