Chip Timing/Cash Prizes in all Categories

Meath AAI Prize Category

An exciting new feature of this years Navan 6k will be the introduction of a Meath AAI prize category. The first male and female Meath AAI registered athlete across the line will receive a bonus prize of €100. To be eligible for these prizes, the athlete must satisfy the same criteria required for an Athletics Ireland championship event. The athlete must be a member of a Meath affiliated club. The athlete must be eligible to hold an Irish Passport or must reside on the island of Ireland for a minimum of 6 consecutive months immediately prior to the race.

Pre-Registration Evening

This year we will again be having a pre-registration evening at Claremont Stadium on Tuesday 14 May from 6pm to 9pm where entrants can collect their number and T-shirt.

Everyone registered to date for the 6k will receive a T-shirt. However, if you opted to receive your race number or T-shirt by post, they will not be available on the pre-registration evening as they will have already been sent these directly to you. We expect them to arrive a few days before the race.

If you can’t make it to the pre-registration, you can still collect your number and t-shirt on race night.

As we have a large number of out of town entries, we would be grateful if anyone living locally could collect their number and t-shirt on Tuesday evening to help alleviate queues on race night.

Alanna Russell Memorial Kids Races

We will again be having kids races in memory of Alanna Russell on the track in Claremont at 7pm. There will be u8 and u11 400m races (1 lap) and an u15 800m race (2 laps). The entry fee is €5 and every finisher will receive a specially designed Run for Alanna butterfly medal.

The Route

The route will be the same as 2018, starting on Commons Lane, close to Commons Hardware and finishing on the track at Claremont going in an anti-clockwise direction around by the old Athboy Road.
