Longwood Marathon & Wicklow Gaol Races

Saturday morning proved to be a good day for our two members participating in the East of Ireland marathon in Longwood. Despite picking up an injury in the closing stages Nichola held on to finish as first female in 3:44 while James smashed his PB, running a superb time of 3:25.

Navan AC were also well represented at a hilly Wicklow Gaol Half Marathon & 10k on Sunday. New recruit Clarissa was our sole participant in the half marathon running a great time of 1:48 on a very tough course while Derek and his motley crew were on tour again for the 10k with some great times posted.
