What a wonderful evening spent in the National Indoor Arena, Blanchardstown- juveniles & Coaches showed up in their numbers to stretch their legs for training in style. Thanks to everyone for coming along, the Parents for supporting the event, the Coaches for organising & Mary Watters for providing transportation. This is fantastic exposure & experience for our budding, young athletes.
Well done to Ciara Rooney, Meath senior ladies track athlete of 2017, receiving her award from fellow club member and outgoing Meath Athletics president Michael Smyth, at the Meath Athletics awards at the Ardboyne Hotel on Saturday evening.
Michael handed over the presidential chain to Maureen Gilsenan of St Brigid’s who will hold the position for 2018.
