Leinster Masters & Intermediate XC Championship 2018

Sunday was a good day for Navan AC’s senior athletes as they took home 6 medals at Leinster Masters and Intermediate Cross Country Championships in Dunboyne.

Mary Watters was first up in the ladies masters over 4k and ran terrifically to finish 2nd in her category and help the Meath team to 1st place in the O/50 competition.

Neil Donnellan was our sole participant in the men’s masters race, running strongly throughout on a tough 6k course while Ciara Rooney was a top 10 finisher in the intermediate ladies race helping the Meath team to a bronze medal.

Last race of the day was the intermediate men where the Navan trio of James Sherlock, Barry Watters and James McGarry helped make up the bronze medal winning Meath team.

Well done all.
